- Then let them cool by removing the ears of corn from inside the heating unit. Roll them from the plate onto a cutting board carefully. You should wait for some time so you don’t hurt yourself because they are still too hot
- Use a large and sharp knife to cut off the stem ends. Make the slicing about an inch from the stem end (one opposite the hairy-looking silk). That way, the silk and husk will be removed from the base of the ear
- Grab the other end of the ear with the silk firmly and begin to pull it away from the side you have just cut. The silk and the husk should slide right off of the cob so there will be nothing but juicy kernels left. At this point, you can throw away those silks and husks, or make something creative out of them.
